‘From little things big things grow’

Australian song writing treasure, Paul Kelly wrote that and he freely admits to occasionally borrowing from literature’s rich library of material. Little pieces of linguistic wonder from the Bible to Dylan - he’s a good old fashioned Aussie magpie who rearranges snippets of prose and delivers them with the emotive bite of a Eastern Brown snake.

Having a resource of creative reference material at hand is so important when your job relies on - being creative. History shows us that it is defined by it. Everyone in the creative industry also knows how important collaboration with others is. Sometimes someone needs to light a creative fuse so the fireworks in your brain can go off. Inspiration drifts around you like glowing spent particles of carbon that you can catch and sequester into a new project. It’s a chain reaction.

Work I did recently with @milk for Clinicians did just that. When the dust from the shoot had settled I started thinking about ‘what would happen if…’ So I got to work in my little studio and found out.
